Out of the box, I simply saw a well-made walking shoe. Putting it on, though, I felt two things instantly: increased energy in my step and noticeable stability along the outside edge of each foot. Walking, somehow, just got a little easier.

ABEO states that their SMARTsystemâ„¢ ultimately benefits the knee, ideal for someone with pain or osteoarthritis. While I haven't worn them long enough to talk to its extended long-term benefits, the added spring to each step and stability are readily perceptible. This extra stability comes without compromise to the shoes' size, appearance, or feel - it's just there when you need it.

Turning the shoes over and looking at the soles, you'll see an interesting combination of materials - most notably a small hard plastic support tucked within each shoe's outside edge. Arguably, this design is the result of expertise in walking and shoe construction. Put them on and you'll see.
